About Our Council

The council takes its name from the city where it is located. The City of Glendale is known as "The Jewel City of the Verdugos". The Verdugos are mountains north of the city.

The Glendale Council works closely with Incarnation, Holy Family, St. Dominic's, Holy Trinity and Cristo Rey Parishes in the Glendale, Eagle Rock and Atwater areas, providing manpower and funding for various parish projects and activities, in addition to our members being active participants in their parish.

The Glendale Council 1920 hall is operated by The Columbus Club of Glendale Council, a California Corporation, who are charged with the "building and maintaining a home for Glendale Council 1920, Knights of Columbus". Brother Dan Rodela, PGK, is the current President of The Columbus Club. All the members of the council are members of The Columbus Club. The Columbus Club officers and directors are elected annually from the membership of the council.

The Glendale Council hall, which seats up to 165 people for dinner, is available for various events. Please call the hall telephone number at 818-246-1920 for hall availability for your event.
